It Was The Sun

It Was The Sun
David M. began producing electronic music at a young age in 2005, experimenting with a variety of styles. In, 2007, he started Monsieur l’Antéchrist, which began as an industrial noise project. As time went on, many new influences were incorporated, and the style of the music changed significantly. In 2009, Monsieur l’Antéchrist self-released the first 4-track demo, “I’ll Stay If You Will.” In the following year, a more solidified sound began to manifest, bringing together elements of IDM, drum-n-bass, hip-hop, post-rock, and drone, just to name a few. In 2010, the decision was made to change the project’s name to It Was the Sun. “Miasmic Glare,” the project’s debut release, is scheduled for a 2012 release.
