SeekSickSound has just released a new podcast from our acclaimed artist r.roo.

Spotted first by weblabels such as Someone Records and Abstrakt Reflections on which he has published a double album earlier this year, he joined in 2012 as a platform is no longer, Tympanik Audio with the sumptuous ” mgnovenie “. Producer insatiable since there are no fewer than a dozen LP in less than three years of career, Ruga Roo has recently published two long formats on Tympanik, one can not immediately appear in our review section. The young Ukrainian demonstrated expertise and demonstrates therefore in melancholy syncopated symphony blitzée and embodies this new breath of fresh electronic music called “smart”.

One of the IDM genre’s more prolific young talents returns with his 7th album in two years, titled ‘innerheaven‘. Plunging into dense, undulating atmospheres beneath expertly crafted polyrhythms, glitchy beats add a visceral quality to an otherwise cerebral listening experience, creating a cohesive and relevant soundscape with many destinations. Lamenting vocals and poignant cello movements are woven into the fabric of harsh sonic artefacts while addictive beats punctuate the brooding sonic landscape. Like a cold and bright winter morning, ‘innerheaven‘ clings and soothes with a radiant glow, swelling with optimism as it guides the listener into endless passages of introspection.
