Blutspan

Blutspan is 25 y/o Jorge G. Alarcón from Valdivia, Chile, at the very end of the world. He initiated his path on electronic music circa 2003. Always trying to reach a whole new level of nostalgia and dystopic sense of loneliness with pads and atmospheres, he started generating some dark atmospheres and ambients, which still give him the perfect background to his actual music.

Inspired by artists such as Lustmord, Aphex Twin, Autechre, Wumpscut and Gridlock, and more recently Access To Arasaka and Infinite Scale, he’s always had one thing in mind, to produce the sense of despair but also hope from within the ashes of a collapsing society/world.

He’s currently producing his debut EP for Abstrakt Reflections, called “a_world_still_[Y]ours_“, the conceptual concatenation to his 2010 self-released “Datafeed“, mixing dark atmospheres with glitchy beats and corrupted signals.

Access to Arasaka - In:Spire [Headphone Commute Mix]
Here are some words from Access To Arasaka : While I could have made a mix of songs that made me want to become a musician, it seemed like a better idea to make one of songs that keep that feeling alive in me. These are tracks that I listen to while watching the sun mutate on its descent behind distant cirrus clouds, the day’s slow closing played out in the colors of autumn, streaked with trails from departing jets and shuttles. This is what I listen to while waiting at a red light in the city, my eyes tracing the sporadic flight paths of moths under the street lights. These are some of the songs that keep me inspired, and always will.
